At the August Foundation, we believe potential grows when it has a chance to be tested. We sponsor tennis tournaments that give emerging players a place to compete, gain experience and pursue what comes next. On court, hard work becomes visible, one point at a time. These tournaments also help us discover promising talents and support them on their way to becoming champions.

Why We Back Tennis
A young player can practice a serve for months. Learning to trust it at break point takes a real match. The August Foundation sponsors tennis tournaments because emerging athletes need opportunities to compete, test their progress and gain experience they cannot get from training alone.
Under match pressure, players discover which parts of their game hold up. They learn to read an opponent, change tactics and recover after a costly mistake.
The tournaments we support give players a goal to prepare for and a result they can learn from. Each match shows them what they have developed and what needs work next.
We’re launching the August Legionnaires Program to extend that support beyond competition, with mentorship, training support and community engagement for young talent.
Our aim is to help players keep building on what they learn on court, from one tournaments to the next.
